Board Meetings
As a political subdivision of the State of Colorado, the San Juan Conservation District operates in strict compliance with the Colorado Open Meetings Law (C.R.S. § 24-6-401). The statutory purpose of our regular monthly board meetings is to ensure that the formation of public conservation policy, financial oversight, and regional resource decisions are conducted transparently in public sessions. These meetings provide a structured forum for our elected Board of Supervisors to review progress reports, manage natural resource programs, and authorize community agreements.
We welcome local landowners and community members to attend, observe, and participate in guiding our regional conservation efforts.
